UK Service Engineer

0730 – 1230 Fri

This is a permanent role
My client is seeking a UK Service Engineer who can visit customers across the UK and resolve issues / provide training. Based at Southam but travel out to business units and dealerships when required. A mechanical skill set is essential, and you will also be used to dealing with customers.

Purpose:
The UK Service Engineer will enhance our customer experience. Improving the customers‘ awareness through training and providing technical support in the event of faults and / or warranty issues.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Understand the customers needs and provide the appropriate service
Troubleshooting company products & equipment
Providing remote and onsite technical support to customers in line with KPI‘s/SLA‘s
Gather fault / warranty related data
Compile product quality issues, communicating issues to the internal quality teams to drive product enhancements
Provide training to customers to ensure standards are met during product installation and enhance the customers understanding of product usage
Complete all necessary administrative tasks associated with a service visit (in advance & following the call
Following service visits, complete the necessary internal debriefing and follow up tasks (when necessary)
Support with set up and dismantling of trade shows and act as a Brand Ambassador providing technical support during trade shows
Carry out audits at our OEM and Aftermarket Dealer networks in line with KPI‘s/SLA‘s.
Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of company products & systems, new and existing
Any additional duties as and when required.
Key Requirements:
Full clean driving license and the ability to travel frequently often at short notice
