Fabricator / Welder
Up to £33,000 Per Annum
Working hours – 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
We are looking for suitably qualified fabricator/welder with bodyshell experience and to assist with conversion of bespoke production vehicles for an industry respected client and manufacture of production parts.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Ensure accurate fabrication of all components to engineering drawings.
Ensure timescales are met for fabrication aspect of the conversion process.
Ensuring the highest quality on showroom level vehicles
Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
Excellent time management.
Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time
Compliance with all departmental H&S requirements
Compliance, where appropriate with management, & environmental, systems, such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in production vehicle fabrication and repair.
Experienced in TIG welding but capability in MIG welding an advantage.
Experience in welding any of following materials – Aluminium, 4130/T45/15CDV6 steel and Stainless steel.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, as well as working freehand as required.
Knowledge of brake press, punches, hand tools and sheet metal work an advantage.
